I believe that each dog is an individual just like we are. You cannot use a cookie cutter method to train dogs. There are a multitude of training methods and you have to be flexible with the training method based on the individual dog.
I enjoy working with dogs. It is very satisfying to watch their progress and see the bond that develops between the dog and their human.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with basic obedience commands which also builds a bond with your dog. We also work on socialization and confidence building.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been training dogs for over 30 years. I have shown multiple dogs in obedience competitions. I have also trained numerous clients that have also competed. I have been the training director for The German Shepherd Dog Club of Oklahoma for several years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My standard pricing is $35 per hour. I usually work with the client and their dog once a week for one hour. Then the client works with their dog the rest of the week. Additional days can be arranged if needed or wanted.
How did you get started in this business?
I started out training my own dog in an ongoing class setting. The owner of the facility, after a year, made me her assistant and eventually handed the classes over to me.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with clients from all walks of life and dog breeds from chihuahuas to great danes as well as mixed breeds and pit bulls.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a client come to me in tears. She had taken her dog to classes at a large well known pet store. The trainer there told her that her dog was untrainable. Her husband had given her an ultimatum, get the dog under control or get rid of it. After the 2nd week her husband came to class with her. He couldn't believe the difference in the dogs behavior and had to come see the training method for himself.
