I always call my customers to notify them of my arrival time. I do a very well job with staying in contact with my customers and keeping them updated, rather I’m running late due to traffic, etc. Showing up early or what ever the situation may be. I always put shoe covers on my boots before walking in there front door.  Introduce myself and my employees to the customer. I arrive prepared to either leave an estimate on site with the customers or if needed start the job immediately at the customers request (in most cases)

I have worked for the big national plumbing company’s like the ones that have commercials on TV and have multiple big warehouses, the ones that have salesman that makes a $100,000 a year and go into your home and sell you a job that cost triple what it is worth and the guy himself has never installed plumbing before he just sells the job and hands it off to some under paid technician So I know what those plumbing companies charge. I have flat rate pricing that is affordable and is a true price for what the job is really worth I have  competitive pricing with the other small business 

Other jobs I have worked in the past.knowing at a young age that I could do it on my own and with the changes I couldn’t make working for someone else I could make them and make things a lot better just like the common saying you learn from other people’s mistakes.

If you don’t feel comfortable with the contractor don’t hire them and do your research first ask to see pictures of previous jobs and referrals from other customers
