The Kennel offers boarding and I offer training.
I teach In-Home and Board & Train on/off leash that provides behavior modification and basic obedience for dogs.
I have been in the pet industry for 9 years and I have been a trainer for almost 5 years now. My goal in this industry is to provide happy homes for dogs and their owners and to show owners how amazing life can be with a well behaved dog.
So far in my training career I have helped hundreds of dogs and owners create successful relationships with each other and keep these dogs out of the shelters or euthanized due to behavior problems.
I am a professional member with the IACP and am working towards certification with CCPDT.
I can help you as a client reach your goals of finding peace in the household with the pets you call family and I will do my everything to set you and your dog up for success.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An evaluation would be required either via phone or in person. Serious inquiries only as an evaluation cost $0 for you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a professional member with the IACP and am currently working on 2 different certifications.
Other than that, I have an Associate's degree in general science, studying mostly biology and have been in the pet industry for 9 years now.

In-Home on and off leash training consists of 8 consecutive weeks where we meet in the home the dog lives at once a week to incorporate training into the household.
The In-Home program is designed for you the owner to learn how to train your dog under the guidance of the trainer. This is typically given to owners who have 'good dogs' but want them to straighten up a bit, or for new puppies with no aggression problems. Kids are able to be a part of the training process as well.
In-Home on & off leash: 8 weeks, 8 classes $800
Board & Train on and off leash training consists of 4 weeks where the dog would stay at the kennel with the trainer where the dog is exposed to more training opportunities.
The Board & Train program is designed for more difficult dogs that owners cannot control or for aggressive and fearful dogs who need serious behavioral modification. During the 4 weeks, there will be 4 sessions where the learned behavior is then applied to the home and the trainer will show the owners how to work with the training when the program is over.
As a trainer, I do not expect owners to be a trainer, and for safety I would always recommend this program to those owners struggling with basic nipping up to dangerous bites because I would much rather see a professional get bit versus you the owner during training.
