The Savvy Dog offers the area's finest Boarding, Daycare, Boutique and Pet Spa for the past 10yrs. Located in downtown Archbold. We have boarding for both dogs and cats as well as Doggie Daycare inside and out. Our Pet Spa grooms both cats and dogs of all sizes. Open 7:30 to 7pm M-F, 9-3pm Sat and Sunday by appointment. We carry a variety of treats, toys, foods and about anything else you may need for your furbabies ❤️

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love having one on one time with our new customers to learn about their pets and their pet's needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have professionally trained Groomers, Vet assistants and Kennel Techs. All of our staff are caring animal lovers ❤️

Our boarding is $20 per night and we do offer Doggie Daycare with boarding for $10 full day and $5 half day. Doggie Daycare without boarding is $17 full day $9 half day. Grooms vary typically starting at $35. Please feel free to call or text Heather for more information at 419-572-1413.
How did you get started in this business?
I worked in the vet industry for almost 13 yrs when I decided to make the move to start my own business in 2008. It has been exciting to see how our business has grown over the past 10yrs and all the amazing people and their pets we have met! We look forward to many more years serving our community with all their pet needs.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have a large variety of customers that use our services. From Boarding and Daycare to puppies, groomimg and more. We have staff available to help with making the right choices of food, treats, toys, supplements etc.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We have several of our staff members attend Pet Industry Expos and Grooming Expos for continuing education so we can bring the best products and learn new skills to better service our clients.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
