Hi!

I'm Laurie and I love taking care of other people's pets. When I started this I didn't realize I'd come to enjoy spending so much time with animals, but I love it! Especially first time pets, like chickens, lol. I'm more than willing to take on other pets, if I'm shown what to do!

I've had cats &/or dogs for over 30yrs. I've been watching family/friends pets for at least 10yrs & I've been officially pet sitting for over 4 years. You can find additional reviews(10) & pictures for me on thumbtack (free to u).

I've been volunteering at an animal rescue (99% cats) for over 4yrs. I foster, medicate, feed, clean & socialize cats/kittens. I also trap, transfer (to neutering/spay) & return.

She handles all 3 of my golden retrievers and treats them maybe even better than I do.

Shes very good with all 3 of them. One of them being young and spoiled, one of them with elbow dysplasia and an almost 15 year old. She also took excellent care of my house as well as the dogs. Its nice to have a trusted dog sitter who treats your dogs the way you would maybe even better. I highly recommend Laurie as she really cares about the animals. She also is very knowledgeable having assisted with cat rescues, trapping, etc.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically I'm contacted by a client or their friend asking for my availability. Any way I'm contacted

I reply to the client via the app/text, with my ijj no initial contact, including a quote, if enough information has been provided.

We work through what information each of us needs and ensure we're on the same page, in general, for cost.

Once we've agreed on the initial information I set up a meet & greet to get to know each other (pet(s) & client), get a feel for the distance, understand all the tasks & finalize the price.

if the client is talking to other sitters they get back with me, otherwise we book the dates!
