Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently I had an opportunity to fly the USS Cod With one of my drones I had clearance from Birk Lake Front Airport. The USS COD had asked me to come in and do so photography of the Submarine station just off the coast of Cleveland. It is a WW2 historic ship and was a great honor to take part in the flight.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Check credentials and ask for licenses. Not everyone who flies a drone likes to follow the rules. There is a few bad apples out there.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
First off what exactly do you need pictures taken of how many? The next one i would ask is how long do they need a pilot on location? Finally, what kind of data storage would we want for the pictures or video taken, would we want thumb drive hard copies, dvd, or even html hyperlinks.
