Hi - My name is Kristen. I would be honored to take care of your pets during your vacation !! It's my mindset to entertain your pets during your absence. They will miss you terribly ! It's my hope to keep your pet happy while staying in your home. I have 2 cats at my own house, so, I really would prefer to come to yours. That way, there are fewer anxieties for all of us.
I love animals, especially cats and dogs But, what if you have other pets ? We can figure things out together.
Pets and strays need shelter, food, water and of course love. I enjoy being a part of their world. Doggies also need activities outside. I don't mind, and if it's ok with the pet parents, I would love taking your dog/s out for a walk, no matter the weather.
I can wash your dog, too. But I have minimal grooming expertise. As an example, I washed my own dog when she rolled in something stinky. She had short fur, so, it was pretty manageable. I don't mind washing long haired dogs, but I'm not ready for bows yet !

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Mostly, I prefer to meet the person at their home. This way, I can make sure where they live, and how long it will take me to get there.
Also, I have the opportunity to see where you keep supplies for your pets. We can talk about getting the mail, papers, whatever is important to my client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am very experienced when it comes to taking care of pets. I've done it since I was about 10 years old. Open door, let dog out. Open door, let dog in !! Oh yeah !! 🙂
ive helped my Mom with her sick cats. And one dog had cancer. Sometimes, pets just want to cuddle. I'm good with these things. A
Also, if you are out of town, I can mow the grass, bring in the paper, get the mail, and/or water the plants, indoor & outdoor. I can also give pills to your cat or dog.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My rates are
$20 for 1 pet a day. Less than 12 hours.
$5 for each pet after the first one.
$35 if I need to stay overnight - between 18-24 hours. Flat fee.
How did you get started in this business?
Like most kids, I played with neighbors' pets. I'm an animal lover, and I finally went to SICSA, for a doggie to love - who rescued who ?? Definitely Honey chose me. She was the only dog there not barking. True love !!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have only had good experiences with pet owners. Most of my clients have been doggie parents. Their dogs are their children !! They throw a party each year for their doggies birthdays !! Cat parents like to tell me about their cats hiding places.
