What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typical process working with both Sellers and buyers involve an interview. With a seller, I would view their home, complete a pricing strategy with specific price based on comparable properties, review a detailed marketing plan with specific activities we will be doing.
With our buyers, depending if they are 1st time or experience, we would interview at our office. We would begin with discussing their needs. I would prepare them for what to expect. We will discuss financing and the time frame to start the search and we'll give them a snapshot of the current market conditions.

I would strongly advice them to make sure the pro conveys a sense of trust, communication and a sense of competence.

How long have they've been in the business? Are they a full-time real estate agent? Check their sales for the past year. Check their testimonials.
