Owner is an Animal Health Technician and is trained to look for issues your dog may have and refer you to your vet if we see any potential medical issues. We have been in business for 33 years and our two groomers have a combined grooming experience of over 40 years. We really care about your dog and want him/her to have a fun and pleasurable grooming experience, especially for your puppy's first grooming. We strive to make the dog and the customer happy.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Answer any questions or concerns they may have about their dog and to give them a fair estimate for the cost of their grooming. Please call with any questions and to receive an estimate. Thank you for your interest.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an Animal Health Technician with over 39 years of grooming experience. I only hire experienced groomers that have been grooming at least 3-4 years and are competent in dematting and hand scissoring skills, basic dog anatomy and the ability to understand dog behavior.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We do not have an exact price for our grooming. The cost depends upon several factors ---- size, condition, occassionally disposition and the amount of time to do the dog ie: hand scissoring is move involved and takes more time.
How did you get started in this business?
I am an Animal Health Technician and after several year working as a Tech, which I loved ---- I decided that I licked and felt a sense of achievement working with well animals instead of sick animals. We have been in business for 33 years, so we do have quite a few geriatric dogs, but that is a little different than dogs that are at the vet's or an emergency clinic with serious health issues.
What types of customers have you worked with?
In 33 years basically all types of people and all ty7pes and personalities of dogs :-)
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I do not have a recent single event ---- the events are always ongoing. I love to see a puppy for the first grooming and see as it grows and matures into adulthood and then into a senior citizen ----- gaining their trust and friendship all along the way as we both grow. I am never done learning.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Talk to the grooming shop on the phone and ask them any questions or concerns you may have and expect the shop to give you their honest answers. Referral is our best source of gaining new clients. Happy satisfied customer and happy dogs when they are picked up it what we always strive for.
