About
I trained rescue dogs for DASH Animal Shelter. Over the 2 1/2 years I was there, I successfully trained and helped to find 24 rescue dogs forever homes. I also provided Doggie Day Care services, in which I’d watch up to 8 dogs a night. Ranging from 4 lbs to 150 lbs at the same time. I trained them, bathed them, groomed them, and I even provided medical treatment on some occasions (suture removal, administering meds, etc). I’ve completed a Red Cross Animal First Aid course as well. And I also completed a two-year Animal Training program apprenticeship. I have personally rescued two dogs myself. I am so very passionate about dogs. I love these little devoted, loving packages of cuteness. And I enjoy spending time with them walking, playing fetch, or even just running around the yard playing keep away. Also when I walk dogs I make sure they learn the heel position, which is on my left side, beside me, or slightly behind me. Not in front of me pulling. I specialize in obedience training. I have successfully rehabilitated aggressive and frightened/abused dogs as well. I can handle any breed and size. I've had everything from Teacup Yorkies to English Mastiffs. I’ve loved, enjoyed, and trained them all!

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A customer brought her 160lb English Mastiff to me because she was aggressive and kept attacking other dogs, including her Yorkies. In 3 days she stopped attacking other dogs, and in a few months she was completely free of any aggression whatsoever. My customer was so very appreciative because she did not want to get rid of her but thought maybe she had no choice. That is exactly why I do what I do. Every dog deserves to be happy and balanced. Once they're happy and balanced, let the spoiling begin!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Meet him/her in person first. Ask plenty of questions and really pay attention to the responses. Visit the location your dog will be staying before you drop them off.
