I am an animal lover rom birth. I own my shop, I rescue and rehome animals in jeopardy of harm. I am a professional groomer and grooming is not a job is my passion. I am a Nurse by first trade which I also love and have done for 30 years but animals are my super power.
I enjoy interaction with all animals and I love transforming them into the condition and helping them to be omfortable in their own skin.

My primary desire is to make the pet feel at ease and to deliver the service the pet parent wants or needs.

I graduated in 2015 from Strautzenberger College from a grooming course and did a year as a vet tech.

I have general standard pricing depending on size, coat condition and temperment, yet that can vary from situation to situation.
How did you get started in this business?
To be honest I have always been in the animal business. But It wasn't until I had a knee replacement in 2012 and I owned a pair of shih tzu babies that I felt the need to help care for longer haired coats animals because of their dire need to be to be comfortable, safe and be free of skin issues.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always obseve the disposition of your pet and the pets interaction with their groomer. Your pet may never enjoy the groming experience ubderstandably, but thsy should never be in morbid fear especially after their grooming experience.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Exactly what they want done within realistical expectations of their pet. Think about the amount of time it takes to groom yout pet, every pets groom differs every time. The condition of your pets coat when you take it into the groomer and the frequency you have them groomed will make or break the experience for the pet as well as the groomer. Nails are crucial to the health and ambulatory process of the pet especially dogs for the duration of their lifetime. Finally, research your pets temperment and DNA tendencies throughly and not in just one place.
