Cincinnati's Staycation Expert! Book with me if you're heading out of town and need someone to watch your pets in the comfort of their own home!
A little background... I started out pet sitting for family & friends & have built up my knowledge & experience over the years. I have worked at boarding facilities, volunteered at shelters & vet clinics, fostered for local agencies, & personally rescued, trained, & re-homed over 30 animals myself so I have lots of experience with those who have special needs and those who require a little bit of extra time & attention. My goal in life has always been to help creatures of all shapes & sizes in whatever capacity that may be! Important for me to know... I need to be aware of any "quirks" your pet(s) may have. For example: are they food/toy possessive, can they be wary of strangers or reactive to certain situations, do they demonstrate leash aggression or dominance, etc. This will better help me to understand their needs and how to approach the stay. I don't have any breed preferences and certainly don't discriminate based on these issues (my own dogs have similar "quirks"), but in order for me to do the best job I can, it's imperative that we're on the same page from the beginning! When I watch your pet... I'm a firm believer in maintaining an animal's schedule to keep their stress level as low as possible while you are away. This means keeping up with their daily routines - feeding times, walks, grooming, trips to the park, etc. - and generally just caring for them the same way you would. I like to develop relationships with all of the pets I watch so that gradually over time, your trips & their stays get easier and easier! I offer... Complimentary meet&greets. I would love for you to introduce me to your dog before we spend time alone - I want your dog to trust me and get to know me alongside you! Also, I love it when owners send me notes or lists ahead of time via email just so I can have a reference on my phone during my stay!
