Abacus
About
Abacus incorporates BIM technology in order to deliver a thoroughly planned and comprehensive project. Our customers are often not construction or Engineering professionals. Therefore, we work smarter to bring 3D visualization to them so that they can make an informed decision.
One of the most satisfying quotes I heard recently is a Client's father say that she must have spent at least $25,000 on a bathroom addition which only cost her $16,000. He stated that the quality of the work and the finished appearance deffinitly had to cost more than what she told him she spent.
This is what I love to hear when we finish a project.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Get to know the person you planning to hire. Find out what past customers have said and if there are no past customers to talk to who are saying positive things then get another quote from a repitable company that does have this.
Most importantly, "Get it in writing".
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should fully acquaint themselves with the particular requirements of their desired project. Sometimes this means consulting a third party who is a consultant that is not actually bidding the project. Check with local municipalities for anf permitting requirements or complaints with a bidding Contractor.
Most of all customers should ask themselves if their project is truly an enhancement to their life. Many Contractors would gladly build just about anything you are willing to pay for but you should really consider if the project truly enhances the quality of your happiness.
