I love dogs. I am so interested in working with every breed, all struggles, and spending time getting to know the families they belong to! I believe that positive affirmation is the best and ONLY way to work with animals. I would love to speak to you about your needs and wants! If you're going on vacation, why board your dog? Have them stay right at home with someone who you trust! Or maybe it's just for the day so they won't be lonely! Let's also get in touch about some training! I love when I meet a dog who is very afraid of things, and while working at the dogs own pace, slowly showing her that the world may not be so scary! It's a really beautiful experience.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always sit down with my client without the dog and take some notes on what they would like me to accomplish with their pet. Then I ask for a tour of their home so that I can see the placement of the dogs food area, sleeping area etc. Then I ask them to bring the dog outside on a leash and allow the dog to sniff me. Then we go for a walk and I see how the dog does on leash. I also watch for signs of aggression.
All of these things are recorded, as well as everything you would like me to know.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent 2 years working at Guiding Eyes for The Blind. This is an organization that is highly regarded and the dogs are incredibly important to the future owners lives. I have also taken courses in dog training.

My rates purely depend on my clients needs as well as what they can and cannot afford. I believe everyone deserves a healthy and happy dog.
How did you get started in this business?
My beloved dog Otis saved my life when I moved home from California. I had suffered a difficult trauma and was facing a great deal of depression. I was unable to go outside or even get out of bed. He never left my side. But I still had to feed him, walk him, and cuddle him. He not only was loving, but he also was my job. It was because of him that I am where I am today and I decided to dedicate my life to showing people that animals should never be scolded for bad behavior. Instead they should be trained to trust you as if you are their entire world. No animal ever deserves to be treated with anything except love and that is what I show with my successful training techniques.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The only customer I will not take is one that will not follow the directions that I give them. It is not just about the dog, you must also change how you treat your animal.
