What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typical process that we use is first to let the customer know that all estimates are free within a 50 mile radius. Also we honestly tell our customers if they really need to Abatement or just need to build a simple enclosure.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since I’ve been doing this job for a while I have recertified my Asbestos license numerous times during the last 20 years and I also have my lead supervisors abatement license as well as antimicrobial and flood restoration licenses.

Removal of pipe insulation 12 1/2 feet and under we charge $750
Removal of more than 12 1/2 linear feet to 25 linear feet of pipe insulation we charge $1500
We not only remove pipe insulation but Asbestos roofing installation as well as 9 x 9 asbestos tiles and mastic And we charge by the sq foot. However pricing can be more because of the assessability of the area and the difficulty of the project

I started off as an apprentice for union local 78 on 1999

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Since we give senior citizens an automatic 10% discount on any abatement job there was a lady in Brooklyn who had to replace a boiler, and needed us to remove about 15 linear feet of insulation from the old boiler. We just went ahead and did the rest of the pipes running along the basement Free of charge to eliminate any other problems that might arise in the future!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you get any area that you may suspect to be asbestos tested before you do any renovations or replacing old insulation!

How are you going to keep the rest of my home from being contaminated and what machines are you going to use to assist you with the removal process. will you have a third-party Air Moniter working with you?
