I been working as a professional musician most of my life and have toured with many of the biggest names in the business. I started tuning and repairing pianos 25 years ago when I decided life on the road was not for me. I approach tuning as a musician as well as a technician and tune throughout the New York metropolitan area for numerous accounts including the public school system, Marth Grahm Dance studio, recording studios and performance venues to name a few.

I have two top quality Baldwin pianos that needed tuning, and for a long time I held off having the work done, because I wanted to wait and see if perhaps a trusted friend could recommend someone they knew, rather that take a chance on someone totally new.
Then I came upon this site, HomeGuide, and after a little research on the site, I decided to try Accurate Piano Tuning & Repair. What good fortune! My first pick proved to be the best. I like that the tuner, Mark, offered a flat rate for the work, and since I was present during the whole job, I can attest to his exceptional level of professionalism.
Mark brought sophisticated tuning equipment, and twenty-plus years of experience, showed up precisely on time and even made a minor repair on one of the pianos for an issue I was not aware of, without charging extra (because the missing part, a felt hammer that came loose was still inside the piano). Now both of my pianos are back in key and they sound great.
I not only highly recommend Accurate Piano Tuning & Repair, but based on my experience with this job well done, I am of the mindset that I would not trust my piano tuning to anyone else!

This was the second time I had asked Mark to tune our piano. He was very professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. He tuned the piano that was out of tune during the pandemic so that it sounded beautiful again! My daughter and I were both enchanted with the sound after the tuning. I will definitely use his service again!

He came as quickly as possible, a there is difficulty parking here. He was efficient in moving a chair with many heavy music books and placing them back after the tuning. He fixed small problems with keys. Explained care of he piano. It was a good piano from Estonia, in good condition.
He will come back in 6 months and vacuum inside for an extra fee. His fee was reasonable. I was happy.
