I've been an Interior Designer for years now, with experience in high-end residential with some commercial work. I bring an unconstrained and inspired approach to everything I do. I develop innovative concepts and designs for a client's home, furniture & lighting designs. I source and forage after highly-sought after pieces and beautiful materials to produce new finished products. I work with an amazing array of craftsmen and artisans to create beautiful objects. I feel the best designers are those who are influenced by the world around them, have an innate understanding of their customers' aesthetic and specific design challenge, who find the opportunity to produce work that is both contemporary and inventive, and who strive to have a small footprint yet a big impact. That is the type of designer I aim to be with each and every project I’m involved in.

Isabelo left no detail undone. He is the definition of a knowledgeable skilled professional. He knows his stuff and is able to provide you with a design that exceeds your expectations! He listened to our ideas, and was able to painstakingly design our commercial space and garden. He handled all aspects of process from creating the plans/design, sourcing materials, selecting and managing the contracted work. He was extremely communicative, providing consistent progress updates. We liked how Isabelo carefully selected the materials while providing us with choices that fit our design taste. Isabelo has a very easy going demeanor but has very high standards and does not accept less. He ensures that the workmanship is not compromised. What we loved about working with him was the ideas he had gave our space a custom feel without breaking our bank! We highly recommend his services!

    Frequently asked questions

Discovery is part of the design process. There are no typical clients, nor templates that I follow. It's getting to know each client and understanding their needs. Each client has their own story to tell, and I help implement it through thoughtful design.

Graduated from Parsons School of Design, 2005

My rates are very reasonable and I can work with most budget ranges. Interior design is not about completing a questionnaire nor taking a one-size-fits-all approach. It’s about developing a relationship with a client and understanding who they are and how they live. As such, initial design consultations are conducted in person (within a reasonable distance to my home or office) or via Skype.

I am able to negotiate services with a client after understanding the entire scope of the project and what they are looking for.

I have worked over the years with an array of interesting people, whether it's with a firm or on my own. I have met with Russell Simmons while working at BNO Design in NYC. A very pleasant man and empowering vegan.

Look for someone who does not have a continuous style throughout all their projects and is able to work with the many facets of interior design.

Understand what you are looking for and do not allow yourself to be overwhelmed by cooki-cutter design.
