What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
New York customers seeking mold solutions should know that state law restricts mold removal (remediation) companies from performing mold inspection and testing on properties that they do remediation work at. A mold assessor should be hired first, the assessor performs the mold inspection and testing. If mold is detected, the mold ASSESSOR will determine the extent of remediation necessary and write up a protocol for a separate mold remediation company to follow. Once the remediation is complete, a clearance inspection by the mold ASSESSOR is recommended to determine if the remediation was done correctly and mold is no longer a problem in the home or building.
