Great! Lou accommodated us on very short notice, arrived on time and did an extensive inspection of the house which we believe has saved us a lot of money. He was professional, thorough, and even expedited our report- turning it around the same day! Well worth the money. I will add this is a brand new construction and that many people advised us against the additional inspection, claiming it was a waste. They couldn't have been more wrong. In the end, the sponsor agreed to cover all the damages including but not limited to; water polling on the roof, a plumbing line preventing the oven from meeting the wall, replacing locks, and refinishing the floors. Thanks Lou!
It went great, Lou is very specific and professional on his inspections, he caught a lot of thing that i didnt really pay much attention to (im no inspector) such as concrete floors, how to look at boilers and many others. i had learn a lot from his inspection.
I found this company through Angies List great reviews and I am totally satisfied with the service performed today. I am in the process of buying an old house that needs work and wanted to have a strong opinion and knowledge of a reputable inspector. Picking a good inspector was very important to me because I did not want any costly surprises after I buy the house. Lou (home inspector) answered all my questions (I'd a lot of for him). He really took his time, came early and inspected the house from top to bottom. I also received the report the same day and was always available to answer any questions. I will definitely recommend Mr. Louis Rubino to all my friends and family. I could not ask for a better home inspector. Mr. Rubino was very patient, polite and professional.
Lou Rubino came very highly recommended (he was described as a real son of a b****, meant as a complement). Setting up the appointment was easy - Lou was responsive to all forms of communication: calls, texts, and emails. He arrived 20 minutes early to the appointment, even though he had the flu. He was very diligent in his inspection, and the final report was almost a hundred pages long, with helpful marked up photos. He remained responsive after the report was over and answered a series of follow up questions by phone.
