I am a nationally accredited and certified professional dog trainer. My methods are strictly force free, fear free, pain free, science based, trust buiding, positive reinforcement.
I specialize in dogs that have moderate to sever behavior challenges including reactivity, aggression, fears and phobias. I work extensively with the two board certified veterinary behaviorists in NJ.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will talk via phone about yuou and your dog. If you schedule a consult, I will have you fill out some questionnaires prior to my visit. Then I will visit you and your dog at your home for an initial consult. The consult can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 2.5 hours, ALWAYS dependent all how well your dog can tolerate/cope/enjoy my presence. At the end of the consult we will discuss my assessment, training and behavior modification options and if you'd like to move forward, an outline of a plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified by the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT-KA) as well as a licensed and endorsed Victoria Stilwell Positive Dog Trainer (VSPDT). I am a Recommended Trainer by the Best Friends Animal Society as well as a Canines with Careers trainer with Best Friends Canine with careers Program. I am an AKC Evaluator as well as a Pet Dog Ambassador Instructor and Assessor. I am a Professional member of the Pet Professional Guild, the ONLY force free, fear free, pain free, science based organization for pet professionals. I attend many seminars/conferences each year that focus on canine behavior, ethology, instincts and learning theory with pratical application.
