What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask new customers to allow a meet and greet day where their pooch can spend a couple hours at my house. I like to be sure that I know each dog and their personality before they board! I do doggie daycare as well so there are always a few dogs around...it is best for everyone that we know this is the right environment for the pooch before owner is away!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an animal behavior degree as well as my animal assisted therapy degree! I have worked as a vet tech and train service doggies!!

$60 A day for boarding
$80 for young puppies under 8 months
$30 for a day of play care
How did you get started in this business?
I needed a change in my life from the long hours I was working! I began as a volunteer with a service dog company and that blossomed into being certified as a trainer and adding the 500 hour animal assisted therapy degree to my psychology credits! I worked at a local animal hospital and started my own business out of my home full time after having a baby!!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
ask for a reference best way to know what others experiences have been
anyone can claim to be a dog sitter look for those who have some training in behavior and or veterinary medicine that way you know your pooch is in the best of care
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Where would your dog stay?
Do you use crates?
Do you take dogs on walks/fenced yard?
will there be other dogs...do you know their temperments?
