About
First off, thank you for taking the time to read this.
I am what is considered a balanced trainer, preferring the use of positive reinforcement techniques while teaching our dogs what and how to please us. I am as much a behaviorist as a trainer. The training I provide is as much for my clients as for their dogs. I give you a better understanding of both why your dog is doing specific things and why we are going to respond in a specific manner. When what we do makes sense to us and we’re all enjoying ourselves we’ve created an excellent learning environment. If you think about it, I am teaching how we properly with our dogs.
I can tell you all about having dogs all my life, about my national certification through Animal Behavior College but I rather you hear about me through Client and Veterinarian reviews and referrals. I focus on private training and by working with your dog and entire family in your home it allows me to more effectively address issues that are specific to the environment where you spend the majority of your time.
I offer assessment/consultations, single sessions (dedicated to the correction of specific behaviors) as well as 2 multi session packages in Monmouth, Middlesex, & Union Counties NJ. Your investment ranges from $125 to $150 per 90 minute session depending on the selected program.
We would need to speak to ensure we have a good fit and to get additional information needed before we would be able to move forward. Please text me, email, or call with your contact info.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before I accept any new client we must talk. We both have questions which need to be addressed. It is important that I meet their expectations, and that we have a good fit. I then schedule our first session. By the end of this session after I have met your family and your dog and you have seen how I interact with each we are both in a better position to decide what is best for your family in moving forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have owned multiple dogs most my life and always enjoyed training them, as well as helping friends and family with theirs. Thinking that I knew it all already I decided that I wanted to get my national certification. I completed an 18-24 month program through Animal Behavior College in under a year. I learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed the curriculum. The learning process never stops, I learn every day from every dog.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My price is per session rather than an hourly amount. Sessions typically run 90 minutes, but they have the tendency to run longer. Simply put, I'm not a clock watcher.
How did you get started in this business?
I got tired of the rat race in was in, I wanted and needed a change. When people told me if you do something that you love you never have to work a day in your life I thought they were nuts. Today I understand that concept and find my work very rewarding personally.
What types of customers have you worked with?
ave worked with such a variety of clients that I can't even begin to answer this question. I also do work for shelters, rescues, and a few veterinarian practices.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am found of all my projects. My most popular program is 5 sessions where we cover a combination of basic and advanced skills.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Experience is the best teacher. I have seen many exceptional trainers that are great with the dogs but lack people skills. We are in fact teaching communicating skills and when we're good at it, it shows.
