Every dog is unique with it's own personality and needs. I will assess and cater to those specific needs. Although I service many dogs and breeds, I specialize in senior dogs and dogs with anxiety. I take extra care and time to work around their needs.
Helping Buddies who are not able to get groomed in a grooming facility. The comfort and transparency of In-Home Grooming. The relationship and the mutual bond that is formed, is what I enjoy the most. I have several clients that have turned into friends throughout the years.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will discuss and assess the buddy to get a full understanding of their needs. Specialty shampoos and equipment available on request.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
7+ years in the grooming business, experience in corporate (Petco) and mom & pop grooming (Mia's Bathhouse for Pets in Harlem) salons. Vet Tech certification. Animal Care & Handling certification from the NYC Health Department. Doggie CPR training and insured.

My pricing will vary depending on location, size of the dog, condition of the coat and the amount of work needed. I have a stationery location in Long Island City and Brooklyn and I also travel, for In-Home Grooming, to The Bronx, Yonkers and Westchester County.
How did you get started in this business?
When I was 18 years old (about, I had a mixed breed rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico. She grew to be almost 30lbs. At that time I was working as a cashier on minimum wage and couldn't afford her monthly grooming. I forced myself to learn how to maintain her coat. Neighbors and friends would ask me to do the same for their dogs and with that I started to gain skill. Now after 20 years self learning and 7 years professionally I'm able to help other buddies in need.
