Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers begin with calling our office phone number or sending in a message online, requesting a specific service appointment. Once on the schedule, we travel to customers' homes and provide a free estimate, a fireplace or heating system sweep, or a full chimney inspection. Once we leave the home, we generally are able to provide our customers, via email, a proposal of the repairs needed. If the customer accepts the proposal and signs the e-contract provided, we will set up a date to complete the job!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Theron, who started up Allen Chimneys in 2009, has been in the industry of chimneys for over 23 years. He began his training by working for another, reputable and local company in high school. He loyally and tediously worked for this chimney company until starting his own family. At that point he decided to start up his own chimney repairs and cleaning company, where he continues to successfully service nearly all of NJ with high quality and honesty.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
A full chimney inspection ($250) includes one heating flue, a fireplace flue, and the exterior chimney(s). A fireplace sweep and inspection ($250). A heating flue sweep ($185).
