thread collective is an award winning WBE certified integrated architecture and design firm, exploring the seams between building, city, and the environment, stitching these diverse elements together through innovative design and research. Located in Brooklyn we strive to create aesthetically unique and often sustainable projects to life.
Our projects range from ground up architecture to urban and landscape design, working from an extensive and deep knowledge base with over 15 years of practice.
We love our work and we love working closely with our clients. For thread collective, every project is developed in response to the particulars of the site, program and client, resulting in built environments that are carefully calibrated and precise. The framework, and methodology by which we approach a project are what ensures the project’s success. Our approach includes: 1. beauty and function must work in tandem; 2. sustainability is a lens for all decisions; 3. work within the budget; 4. collaboration and communication is paramount 5. approachability of design; 6. program and client are primary drivers.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a licensed architecture firm, registered in New York and New Jersey. In addition, we are LEED accredited, with experience and knowledge in Passive House practices and Well Built Standards.

Our pricing is particular to the needs of the client and project scope. Once we meet with the client and understand the details of the scope we can provide a proposal outlining fees. T
