Baxter Projects

I hired Baxter Projects to help me plan and concept renovations to my 1972 modernist home in the Sterling Forest of Tuxedo New York. Kevin made several trips to the house to understand the landscape and work through updates that would help to secure the home for the future and not detract from the original architects vision. He is very thoughtful and design driven, which was exactly what I was looking for.

I was extraordinarily happy with the work of Baxter Projects, and I also learned so much throughout the entire process to make the best and most informed choices for my lifestyle and my family. Baxter Projects has extensive experience across a variety of design spectrums, and the entire process of renovating our home was inspiring and informational. He was also incredibly thoughtful when it came to materials, budget, and timeline, using sensitivity and efficiencies throughout the duration of the project. I would highly recommend Baxter Projects for both smaller ambitious projects and bigger visionaries builds and renovations that require commitment and serious expertise.

Kevin was highly recommended to help us with an almost impossible assignment - integrate a 1500 square foot 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment into the ground floor of a duplex completed 18 years earlier and make it look seamless! He accomplished this by carrying through key design features and elements from the original construction while reimagining and updating them, and the result is the entire ground floor looks fresh and new.

I can’t tell you how amazing the apartment is - it’s calm and quiet and grounding and exactly what I needed to figure out how to navigate a new phase in life.

That’s a lot to put on an apartment!
