Suburban Paws

Suburban Paws is an owner-run, insured pet care company based in Lindenhurst, NY, serving Long Island since 2003. The business provides cage-free home boarding and daycare with around-the-clock care in a home environment. Facilities include a securely fenced yard, structured outdoor play, dog pools, playground equipment, an agility course, and dig pits. There are no additional fees for outdoor playtime, medication administration, or personal care.

Services also include low-stress, humane dog grooming performed one dog at a time by appointment; limited in-home pet sitting visits and dog walking; positive, rewards-based dog training; and limited transport to and from camp. All care is provided personally by the owner, Rebecca, ensuring consistent attention and familiarity with each pet’s needs.

Suburban Paws is experienced with senior and special-needs pets, including diabetic and seizure-disorder care, and can administer medications, including subcutaneous and intramuscular injections. Rebecca is certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and is a graduate of Animal Behavior College, with knowledge across multiple species including dogs, cats, reptiles, pot-bellied pigs, and other exotics. Clients receive photos and updates while away.

Home boarding is available for well-socialized dogs that are current on vaccinations (including bordetella), friendly with other dogs, and spayed or neutered by nine months of age. Both small and large dogs are accommodated.
