I spent 19 years in the carpenters union I started out on Long Island ,  in five years I was running multi million dollar jobs in New York City,  some of my higher profile customers which were Dolce and Gabbana retail stores and their headquarters on Howard Street in Soho  , Calvin Klein , his personal home on Westside Highway a 12 story renovation $22 million estate in Amaganset , LI, NY , Richard Geffen (Geffen Records) just to name a few

It's difficult to price a job site unseen As there are so many different variables  that could affect the price and the outcome, regardless of the scope , And not only that ,  it's a chance for me to meet the customer and see their vision in that space,  example: I think it would be foolish to buy a car without ever a test driving it or even seeing the condition of it ,  I like to see the job for myself and make sure as a professional that the customers concept of what they want Can realistically be evaluated And competitively priced

My uncle , When I was 15 years old I started out by building concrete forms with him and of course learning how to finish concrete but I really enjoyed working with the wood , I enjoyed creating and building things started out with a picnic table 5 years later I was building high-rise buildings in the union in Manhattan I've always loved to Create and build I encourage my customers to do the same use your imagination ,it's fun !!!

I have worked with alltypes of different customer's, my goal is to Meet every customers needs and work with every size budget you don't have to have millions of dollars to achieve million dollar outcome.

I had a customer and Amityville Harbor who had called me too replace or possibly restore a pergola which was nestled nicely in the corner of the yard on the canal after giving him a price he explained to me that he was just diagnosed with a rare blood cancer and the outcome was most likely terminal,  after he explained  to me that he and his wife enjoyed spending the evenings out there relaxing and was one of his wife's favorite spots he wanted to keep this for her As it was one of there Favorite places to sit and relax and meditate and just enjoy each other's company when he explained to me that his medical bills had exhausted a lot of his resources I told him the job would be 15 K to remove the old structure and put up a new one after discussing the situation with my wife and realizing how blessed I was , I simply asked how much did you plan on spending ? He told me between $7000 and $8000 , My wife said do it ! it's not always about the money , After thinking about it for a half a second I said yes I will , during that time the price of lumber had skyrocketed , when I told him I was going to do it for $7000 he cried it took a lot for me not to cry with him,  but I knew how much it meant to him and I already knew that I was 150% committed, Two weeks later the new Pergola was built I must say that is an experience that I will never forget and another thing it gave me a feeling that $10 million could not buy , life is so precious And because of that job it made me realize what's really important , i'm truly grateful for the friendship we still enjoy to this day 🙏

Make sure you have a plan it's that easy if you fail to plan plan to fail it's an old cliché but very accurate
