I Stay Over With Rover
About
I've had dogs since I was 3 years old - Scnauzers, a Boxer, a German Shepherd, a Labrador, and Miniature Diberman Pinschers. I don't have a dog right now, so this is my way of keeping dogs in my life. The only challenging part is that I have fallen in love with every dig I've stayed with, but it's a price worth paying. I was a photographer for many years, and tried to upload about 20 dog's photos, but it didn't work for some reason. You can see them on my Facebook page though - Dog Sitting by Dianna.
i have a really special connection with dogs. I have done dog sitting with dogs known to sometimes bite people and had no problems ((one was a recent rescue and two others were Jack Russells). I sat for one family that said I was the only person their dog liked, other than themselves. When I take a walk I stip for any dog, if the owner has time, and many people tell me their dog isn't friendly with most people, but they are very friendly with me. I think they just know that love them.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I visit their home and get to know them and their dogs well enough for them to be comfortable asking me to take care of them. Whenever I stay there I take photos so that they csn see their dogs are happy and well taken care of. I was a professional photographer for many years, so a lot of those photos have ended being framed. I love doing it and the owners really appreciate it. Sometimes we do Facetime as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Other than being trained for my own dogs, I've never gotten professional training. Doing it as a side business happened naturally. I worked with one dog sitting company in Phoenix, but I have gotten most jobs by referral, or meeting people on a walk or at Farmers Market. This particular service is one I have only used once. I usually get jobs through word of mouth.
