About
We are a woman owned and operated company with a combined 15 years of experience in caring for interior plants commercially and residentially. We specialize in plant interior design, which concentrates on the proper placement of plants that are both pleasing to the eye and great for the plants. Being a small business, you know who cares for your plants each week and can see our passion in our work.
Everything, there is nothing better than caring for plants. I especially enjoy taking tired looking plants and transforming them back to their beautiful, clean, and shining selves. I love the difference plants make in dull spaces, it completely changes the room's appearance.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a tour of the space to be filled with plants or to see what plants are already in place. I design options on plant suggestions and their ideal placement using visuals. If there are existing plants, I would assess whether they are in need of replacement or to be moved around. Next I provide an estimate for initial installation or redecoration, and an estimate of the monthly cost. I also have two contract options to choose from with an annual plan and a discount for paperless billing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over 14 years of experience in the field of interior plant care. We also served as Master Gardeners in Sandoval County for many years to learn exterior plants in the southwest.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Each account is different with separate needs and plants, so there is no way to have a standard price.
How did you get started in this business?
Sherry, the original owner of Green Thumb Interiors, always had a knack for plant care and decided to persue her passion full time. She passed her knowledge and passion to her duaghter, Jessica, who is now owner of the company.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Small law offices, residences, museums, credit unions, and other office buildings large and small.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love transforming raggedy plants with a little trim, a good washing, perhaps a new pot, and some shine. I recently did such a project for a residence on several plants with very pleasing results, and the pictures are on Facebook.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
You want to have someone who knows the plants and their best placement, as well as eco-friendly pest control for some of the small insects that can arise, like gnats etc. You also want a company where you get the same person each weekly maintenance appointment, who knows your plants well.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do you set a consistent schedule for each account you maintain, where the client knows the day and approximate time each week you will be coming?
Do you know how to deal with small plant pests in eco-friendly and efficient manner?
How much experience do you have in caring for interior plants?
