About
We are a business driven by our core values to lead us to success. Integrity, Respect, Innovation, Passion, Family, 212°, & Fun. 212° is maybe our most important value, if we could name just one. 212° is the boiling point of water; it creates steam, and steam can power the world. What's 211? Warm water. Thats it. That 1° makes all the difference, and thats who On-Site Security is.
Oh just to pick one is hard. I would have to say, what i like to call, the reveal. The moment when the you get to show the client where all the hard work went into. The weeks or months building a custom home theater, or even the hour or two mounting a TV and sound bar. Its seeing that joy or amazement on the customer's face that keeps us loving what we do.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we try to understand the customer's goal in the project. What exactly they are looking for. Not what they are told they should get, not what someone else has, but what they truly want. We go over all options, timetables and budgets to ensure a seemless transition and an excellent finished product to exceed the customer's expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our staff takes CEU courses every year to stay certified and up to date on the latest codes, procedures and equipment.
How did you get started in this business?
James our President has been in the Audio/Video and Security industries for over 20 years. It began working on cars for the rich and famous at some of NJ and NY's most exclusive auto shops. This easily transitioned into high end home theaters and security systems in client's homes. Building the right staff with aligning core values was originally the most challenging part. The team we have today is a family, based on our alignment on these core principals. Integrity, Customer Service, Innovation, and 212°
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with everyone from the corner butcher to the Oscar award winning director. That is not an exageration, i believe there may be some photos with his golden globe award floating around the office.
On a serious note, we complete the smallest of jobs to the largest of projects and handle them all the same. With our utmost attention to detail.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Our company handles the contracts for many prestigious companies in the state. Some of those are, Rutgers, Kean, and Sharp Electronics. It is an honor to work with those fine and long standing institutions.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Hire a pro, not a joe. There are a lot of handymen out there mascarading as a professional. Some are good handymen. However when it comes to security or audio visual work youre going to want a seasoned pro. An established company with a solid warranty that in case of the event there is an issue, you know you will be taken care of.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
1. Think of everything that will be required for your project. Somethings often forgotten:
Permits, Surge Protection, Battery Backup, Equipment Cabinet, Proper Power Requirements
2. What is your budget for this poject? Every project needs a budget to outline the level of electronics to be used.
3. Your time table. When must this be completed by? Have realistic expectations.
