I watch dogs in my home when people leave for vacation. If the client wants me to work (Train) with the dog while they are away, I will do that. I've been involved with dogs for over 30 years.

My Love for Animals

I was raised in the Bronx, New York and we lived in a very large apartment. My parents always felt that it was not fair to an animal to be cooped up in an apartment. They told me that when I got married, I could have all the dogs that I wanted. I went to the ASPCA in New York and brought home my first dog. I called my mom at work and told her that I brought home a dog. She said that I should take it back to the shelter before she and my dad got home. I told her that if the dog goes, I go also. (I did not know where I was going to go.)

My parents came home and met Lad, the dog. They loved Laddie. My mom and dad would wake up early in the morning and take turns walking Laddie before they went to work. They used to leave the house very early, so they let me sleep before I had to get up and go to work. Lad lived 14 years.

I always wanted to be a Veterinarian but things did not work out that way. I got married instead and raised two boys. My children are grown and married and I am remarried to a wonderful man who puts up with me and my animals. My husband is a Civil Engineer, who was afraid to retire, because he didn't want to become my assistant. He finally retired, and his worst fear came to fruition. I am happy to report that he is no longer my assistant, I promoted him to my partner. Needless to say, he is absolutely underwhelmed with joy. He helps me walk them, feed them, clean up after them and pays all the Vet bills without a complaint.

I love the animals and can pick up their energy.

I've always loved dogs and cats and other animals. I used to pick up strays when I was very young and bring them home and find their owners.

I love everything about working with dogs.

I am a Certified Dog Trainer. I attended Animal Behavior College and was graduated with honors. I am also licensed in New Jersey as an Animal Control Officer. I am certified by the Red Cross in Canine First Aid.
