This is a women owned business and I make sure we assist our clients with their projects from beginning to the end so we are a very hands on company in many ways. Everything we do for our cleints is custom to what they want and we do the very best we can to make them happy! We explain the details of what we can and can not do for their re-upholstery project or their window treatment project so we do not take anything for granted and we make everything to their specifications not ours!

I do all the decorating so I am also very hands on in assisisting my cleints with all their fabric needs. I will do the color coordinating for them if they choose along with getting swatches and bringing the fabrics to them to accomplish their one of a kind re-upholstery or window treatment project. 

I love meeting all the great people we get to service and they become friends, not just a client. I really enjoy the relationship and trust I build with them to make them feel at ease about improving and changing a piece of furniture or a window drapery they have lived with for a long time. When I am discussing an up coming project with my cleint, they are usually going through some kind of change in their lives such as becoming an empty nester or their partner had passed and now they are ready to update or do a new look in their home. I really enjoy working with them to make them happy when they see the beautiful completed upholstery or window look!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We try to make getting them a quote simple. I do like to speak to them first to find out exactly what they are looking to do. I will then ask them to text or e-mail a picture of the project they have in mind. I can then tell them exactly what we can do for them and the costs associated with their project. 

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a BS degree in design and I have a gift of having a photographic memory of color. I have been working in the arts and service/sales business for over 40 years. I have worked with my partner now for 13 years in this industry. His experience in the upholstery/drapery/window treatments business exceeds 40 years.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

There really isn't a standard pricing system as everything we do is custom. Once we have a discussion and I receive pictures, then we can break down all the details of cost.

How did you get started in this business?

My husband Carl, has been working in the re-upholstery/window treatment adn antique restoration business for almost 40 years. He started bringing the fabric projects home for me to assist him with this part of the business because he said I had a great eye for color and decorating. All the different fabrics for the different projects I reccomended to his clients, they loved my fabric choices and so I was able to add more to his business and added value of having my design assistance. I eventually started working with him at his place of business. He then decided to move his business and I decided to work with him and then I started my own business with him.
