Doggie Butler's
About
Hi,
My name is Melek Butler and I am 33 years old. I'm an experienced dog walker of 8 years. I've previously worked for Biscuits and Bath (doggie day care) from 2012-2020. When the pandemic started I decided to develop my own dog walking business.
My love and passion for dogs is what makes me stay in this business. I am trustworthy, dependable and a reliable dog walker. I am well known on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. I have excellent references.
I look forward to hear from you.
Best,
Melek Butler

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process for working with new customers is to get any information I might need to know such as how they are on the walks, if they are friendly or aggressive, how they are with people or when you enter the home just so I can be prepared what to expect and how to handle/manage them when I meet your furry friend. We can also do a meet and greet beforehand if that makes my clients feel more comfortable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have knowledge of the dogs behavior and how to train them on the leash. Dogs that are skittish, I can break them out of it. It could take me few weeks because that takes time. I know how to manage dogs that will sometimes try to bite my hand, eventually I will win them over. I can deal with all types of breeds big or small.
