JABIL KENNELS has been caring for dogs and cats since 1972. Mother and daughter partners Jessie Young and Barbara Young combined their passion for animals to care for other peoples' pets. Jessie passed away in 2006, and Barbara has continued the service.

Every day brings a new pet to care for, whether simply asa visitor for grooming, or as a resident inn our boarding kennel. Our philosphy has always been to make friends with each animal, so that on return visits the pets are returning to us as an extension of their family.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Grooming dogs is similar to a hair salon: I will do my best to groom in the style preferred by the owner.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I actually grew up the daughter of a groomer, so I have a long lifetime of experience. I have groomed show dogs as well as house pets.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Prices start at $48 for a complete grooming of a small dog (more if the dog has not been groomed for a long period of time)
How did you get started in this business?
I am second generation, joined my mother in a boarding/grooming kennel
