Valliere Design Studio

Marcel Valliere is the owner and lead designer at Valliere Design Studios and brings to the studio a rich and deep background in the areas of art and design. The son of an art historian, Marcel has been immersed in the world of art from a very young age, for years assisting his father in the operation of his art gallery and participating in historical research in the recovery of undiscovered art works. Marcel later studied design at the industrial design program at the Mass College of Art, and while attending school, he also worked in the custom design cabinetry shop at Payne/Bouchier in Boston, Massachusetts. After years of working in the arts, then studying design and employing actual concepts in the hands on work of cabinet making, Marcel was drawn to an independent career in architectural design; thus began Valliere Design Studios.

With experience in the arts, industrial design and his love of architecture, Marcel has a unique perspective and a fresh approach to designing space and rethinking existing conditions. Over the years he has had the pleasure of creating many unique and functional environments for clients, as Valliere Design Studio has grown, so too has the ability to engage some of the finest artists, craftsmen, and designers in the state of Maine, tapping into a wealth of artistic vision.
