We prepare the substrate correctly and use street grade 4000 psi concrete for most all installations. We take the time to explain the installation process as to time frame and where the water will be going.

We enjoy working with homeowners listening to what they want and coming up with a design that functions correctly is aesthetically pleasing and bringing the job to completion. As it happens it's very exciting.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Contact by phone or text message meet at property and go over all they have in mind I like to bring landscape paint and mark out for a retaining wall paver patio or concrete installation this gives good visuals and functionality purposes. It also enables us to come up with a more precise square footage for total cost.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I started Landscaping with my family in 1977 at C B Therkildsen and son. I've worked at Mulhauls for 5 years and I've also worked Lanoha. I've been in the middle of this business my whole life. I love it.

For concrete replacement 7.50 ft2 where the truck can reach Sidewalks are around 9 ft2 Back yard pours using a buggy 10 ft2 Retaining walls range from 35 to 45 ft2 We always replace the substrate with aggregate tamp in place and ensure proper drainage

My family been in this business since 1925 here in Omaha

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Get a few bids!!! Most are going to be fast!!!! One day tear out replace. We don’t do it like that! We tear out and fix the substrate! The next day we pour it back! It’s always needing work on the substrate! Water under the pavement is what destroys the concrete. Every time!!!

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

They should know their square footage! They should know proper water function is critical. Does it drop off faster at the sidewalk? String line it from the garage! It will drain better! Get the water out!!! Speedy gonzes olias ain’t going to ask it envolves extra work and hauling it away. But it’s better!
