Furry Paws Grooming
About
I groom from our home. I have been grooming for 14 years and absolutely LOVE what I do. I do one person's dog at a time so there is usually only the one I'm grooming here and no one else.
I definitely LOVE everything about what I do. I take my time and dedicate myself to do what is best for each animal I do. I like to be honest with each owner so they know how their baby does. I take pride in what I do and always expect the best out of myself.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I just need to know the breed, size and proof of a Rabies shot. For the owner I need first and last name with a good phone number and also a current address.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been grooming since 2006. I have worked at 2 vet offices so it does help when something I see that may need vet attention I will definitely let you know. I have also been able to do many dogs/cats that have needed to be sedated before and it just takes a little more patience and time with them to figure out what exactly the issues are. I absolutely want to make sure the pet is very safe and comfortable being with me.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Prices of course will always vary depending on size, coat, type of grooming and matting.
It is highly recommended to stay on a schedule for your pets grooming since it is better to keep them maintained.
How did you get started in this business?
I actually started grooming while I was in high school. I was going to college to be an Esthetician but learned after graduating from High School and College animals was in my calling. I have always LOVED animals and that will never change. So I have just been following this path because I absolutely enjoy doing what I do.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with many different types of breeds and if you have a preference on what you want done I am 100% to do my research. I always put my heart and soul into what I do for each and every single paw that comes to see me. As made mention before I have worked with several animals that have had to be sedated before and we have overcome them needing to be sedated again or taking calming meds. I will be completely honest about how your fur baby is that way you will not be left in the dark.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love watching competing in competitions but have not been able to compete in a long time because we have 3 young kids and its hard right now to be able to leave them. I always like to continue to educate myself about new products and things to be done.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are very trustworthy and reliable. Groomers need to love your baby just as much as you do. They need to be honest from the start on how your fur baby does for them. Also they need to try and educate the owner on how to maintain the baby while at home between grooming to keep matts from taking over the coat.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
There is no such thing as a bad questions. Always ask anything and as much as you want because you are putting your trust in us with your baby. They are just like our kids so you need to know everything. One thing to remember is the animal typically does better for someone else other than their owners so please be so generous as to believe in us to take excellent care of your baby.
