West Depot Architecture
About
West Depot Architecture brings the building back to its roots, the site. Every project West Depot designs is a site-specific response to its environment. Whether I’m designing around a tree for its beauty or its shade or whether I’m placing a wall of glass for a sunset view or mountain view, I consider all site assets and develop buildings that take full advantage of them.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step in working on any new project is learning about the client's goals, needs and wants. This can be accomplished over the phone, in person, or through emails. After learning about the building program, we develop a range of custom concepts that respond to the client's wishes and the building site.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Joe Seipel-Parks received his Masters of Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2000. In addition to is architectural training, Joe worked in a mechanical and electrical engineering firm for five years where he learned a great deal about the interrelation between buildings and their electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems. This knowledge allows Joe to design the most efficient, comfortable and user-friendly houses.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
After learning about the owner's requirements, West Depot Architecture will provide a fixed-fee proposal to complete the work.
