Prior grooming experience with a veterinary owned grooming salon that specialized in working with pets that exhibit temperament/behavioral issues, anxiety, health problems, pets with matted coats and other poor coat and skin conditions, young pups to geriatric age. I’ve learned and witnessed the importance of patience, gentleness and willingness to work WITH the pet in many situations. I take everything into consideration, such as their age, health issues , physical health or ailments, how they are responding to me and to the grooming process, past grooming experiences, as well as their current mood and behavior. This helps in building their trust, and eventually providing a less scary experience for them.
