About

Scott Reid, Owner, began his construction journey right out of the Navy moving to the Outer Banks of NC where he started from the ground up in the construction industry. His hands-on experience has given him the skills to not only construct, but also design beautiful spaces.

Scott then moved with his family to the Triangle area where he started his custom trim and cabinet company, Blue Sky Trim Works, designing and creating elaborate interiors on residential and commercial properties. His work expands from the Outer Banks to the Triangle area consisting of everything from grand entryways, spectacular kitchens, stately office/studies, exquisite wine rooms, classic Irish pubs, game/hunt rooms and more.

In 2019, Scott decided to step into the contractor role creating Southbound Builders, providing new construction, remodeling, and additions. His commitment to quality, excellence in craftmanship, and customer service, along with his extensive background in construction, sets him apart as an elite builder.
