My interest in dog training began when my own dogs had problems I wasn’t sure how to deal with.

There was a lot of lunging, barking, leash pulling, destructive behavior, and more that consistently left me feeling embarrassed and frustrated. I wanted to be able to go on peaceful walks and have the confidence to bring my dogs out in public without worrying about how they’d act.

As a petite woman, I knew not being able to manage my Siberian Husky (Aurora) and German Shepherd (Atlas) was a recipe for disaster.

After an incident where Atlas broke free from his leash and was lost overnight, my partner and I realized that not having our dogs trained properly was putting our dogs safety, health, and wellbeing at risk.

So I started learning and researching how to train dogs. I began applying my studies into daily training sessions with my dogs and quickly began getting results. Now, I could properly communicate with my dogs knowing that they would respond on command and listen to me at all times. 

Not long after, others began commenting on how well behaved my dogs were…which would have never happened before.

I learned how important it is to give dogs structure, rules, boundaries and a calmer state of mind. How to communicate with them in ways they understand. The importance of positive reinforcement but implementing corrections as well to develop a well rounded and balanced dog.

Soon after, I went all-in. From hands on training at a large facility and studying under local trainers I was able to train hundreds of dogs, sharpening my skills and discovering the nuances of our canine companions.

I started expanding my knowledge by taking online courses, seminars, reading articles and case studies, learning science based methods and implementing what I’ve learned all along the way.

Now, I have the opportunity to teach dog owners everything they need to know to live the best life possible with their dog. The life they imagined and pictured in their mind the first day they brought their dog home.
