What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will come into your home and make myself acquainted with your pet to make sure they are comfortable with my presence. Then I will get set up with my equipment. Depending on the size of your pet I will bathe them in the bath tub/ sink /or outside if necessary. I have a table to use for medium and small pets. Bath, haircut, nail grind, teeth brushing and anal gland expression included in services.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Training at Petsmart academy. 7 years working in corporate salon. 1 year private salon.

How did you get started in this business?
I always wanted to work with animals growing up. I have a veterinary assisting certificate. My first job was at petsmart as a bather and have worked my way up to branching out on my own as an independent groomer.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of breeds and temperaments.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I always look forward to seeing my favorite client George (old English sheep dog) who is groomed mostly on a weekly basis as he has over 10 inches of coat!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Temperaments of their pets and being honest about their behavior.
