Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contribution call! How might I contribute to the live and living you desire in your home, office, studio or class room?
Creation! Whether you are simply desiring a mood board with ideas, a zoom call to create solutions for special spots, an in person design session, or a larger transformation, you guide me with how you want to feel and function in the space, and I create possibilities of creations.
Check in Connection! A critical element to any design or staging process is to check in with the creation. Clients find this follow up fun and freeing! For if there is a need for a tweak or to take on the next space they know they aren't alone.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Self taught designer with 48 personal moves under my built, including spaces from loft apartments, townhomes, to 7000+ manors. As an in home therapist, I've understood the relationship between our homes and our mental health. I am not a practicing therapist, however the skills are still intact. Being a business consultant for years also provided me a vast aray of working/office spaces to as one client coined, "do your magic."

How did you get started in this business?
My passion for design is built into my bones. Even as a kid I was designing rooms with my Crayola Design Kit, rearranging rooms of our homes or getting to redesign the next place we lived. The formal training I experienced through education added the valuable psychology, color theory and tools that a design program alone wouldn't have provided.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've work with customer across the board, homeless (yes, even homeless desire to have an environment that supports their life and living), hoarders, housewives; in spaces from a kitchen drawer to a full home make over. All the clients I've worked desire to not simply vacation at a my happy place, but desire to daily live HAPPI Inside & Out. Where their home, business, or vehical is their My HAPPI Place.
