Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each person has different expectations and experiences, so there isn't a black and white "dialogue" for discussing Real Estate. I like to set up an in-person meeting with each new client that way we can associate faces with names and get to know each other better, talk about the intricacies of Real Estate sales, and determine the best method to attain their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a licensed Realtor, I attained my certification through JY Monk School of Real Estate and attend continuing education courses through them as well. I received the highest certification level an agent can attain in 2008 when I became Broker in Charge of my firm. I have been selling Real Estate for 15 years in and around the Charlotte area.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
There is never a standard pricing system for Real Estate services and if an agent tells you so.....RUN!
How did you get started in this business?
I got started in this business after working with my Uncle building custom homes. I saw a huge need for excellent customer service in an industry that lacked strong professionals. I took that notion and ran with it, haven't slowed down since 2004.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with people. In Real Estate there is no "type of customer", we help everyone find a home that fits their budget, their needs, and their wants.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love every charity event that we are part of. Typically thats atleast 1 per month.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Meet with multiple agents, interview them and make sure you feel comfortable that they have your best interests in mind. Id always reccomend a full time, top producer. Buying/Selling a home is one of the largest decisions a person can make in their life, both financially and mentally, make sure you journey through that process with an advocate not an acquaintance.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
One of the first questions you should ask yourself is, "Where am I financially? Do I have the appropriate savings for closing costs and down payment?" Finances are your power in a Real Estate transaction.
