Many clients needs guidance in choosing colors as well as accessorizing and furniture placement. A few hours of consulation can help transform a persons home into a welcoming and attractive place to call home!
I have transitioned from working with total home renovations to a more personalized service of consultations, accessorizing and home staging. Being a licenced realtor, I can zero in on what a potential buyer is looking for in a home by placing the sellers furniture & accessories in an attractive, marketable setting. I currently work in the Charlotte area & Wilmington, NC area in the past where I won blue ribbons by the Parade of Homes for my kitchen & bath designs.
*Being a realtor, if a client decides to list their home with me, I will stage their home free of charge with their furnishings & accessories.
I love the way a client looks at their home and feels comfortable and excited during and after the project. I feel your home should be a reflection of you personal style and what makes you feel good in your personal space. I enjoy teaching clients along the way & working with them.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a consultation to go over their needs and what their vision is for their home or cetain area of home. When working with accessorizing or furniture placement, I ask the client to let me know what pieces of current furniture or accessory, artwork, etc they want to incorporate. I like to use what the client currently likes and add to them to get a desired look and feel for the client. I like to save the client money but bringing new life to some pieces that they have had in their home for years! I also like to get a feel for what colors the client likes and suggest color and color combinations to add a faresh feel to their home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 25 years experience in full service interior decoratng including residential and commercial spaces including restauants, office space & small to large homes. I currently focus on hourly consulations and helping clients save money by assisting with projects, advise with accessorizing, furniture placement & purchases.

I currently charge by the hour for consultations, research & shopping. For timely, larger projecs, I will have a retainor and invoice the work done so the client can see what I have done throughout the project and the time that has been involved.
