Swiftdogz Inc.
About
We provide dog training, grooming and boarding in a calm, quiet environment that supports dogs who have had below average experiences at veterinarian visits, grooming visits or are just learning how to navigate the world we live in.
We use a unique method that helps dogs make better decisions. Relative Space is a ground breaking approach that teaches dogs to be in control of what happens to them, resulting in a calmer, more comfortable dog.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We welcome an initial consultation and tour of our cozy space by appointment. Our approach focuses on providing individual attention and customized care for each dog in our care. Whether training or grooming, our approach embodies a calm, comfortable relationship with dogs and people so its important to us to ensure we are able to spend time talking and getting to know you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a Professional member of the American Pet Dog Trainer's association and believe in high standards, and transparent ethics.
We are AKC CGC Evaluators who conduct Community Courses to established clients.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Because we build technical action plans that are unique to your needs, we require a consultation and hands on evaluation prior to any training plan.
For Grooming, we prefer the first visit to allow us ample time so that the dog can have time to decompress between grooming process steps. We can proviede a quote at drop off, and an estimated range by phone.
Because of this, we do not provide quotes by phone.
How did you get started in this business?
We began in 2009 with the primary aim of developing our methodology to become widely used, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of dogs and their people.
Today, our organization has trained over 2,000 dogs in nearly 40 states and Canada.
Our primary focus is to ensure our process is implemented from start to finish, and continue learning along the way.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Our clients consider their dogs as members of the family. Many of our dogs are contributors to society, aiding in reading assisted therapy, pet therapy for Hospice and Childrens Hospitals and Nursing homes.
Our most challenging dogs have come to us as a result of a melting pot of issues, for which we break down into small plans and rebuild the dog and family's confidence one step at a time.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Any Learning industry has multiple ways of approaching the same problem. We DO NOT recommend using behavior modification drugs, and have successfully transitioned many dogs off this approach - sustainably!
While there are many "right" ways to approach learning, and indusing informaiton - success lies in the hands of the dog's family and the level of commitment they are willing to put forth.
