Doggie Doos by Dayna is a "in home" grooming service which caters to Small and Medium dogs (No more than 60lbs thank you)
I have all the equipment to groom your dog. The only thing I need from the costumer is a place to set up and a place to bathe the dog.
I have been in business here in the Charlotte area for 9 years but have been grooming dogs for over 25 years. I learned to groom dogs in CT from a lady that had Standard Poodles. I worked with her for 10 years. I have worked for several animal hospitals and even worked at a Prestigous Horse Stable in TN grooming the owners 10 to 15 dogs. In 2015 I recieved the "Best Groomer" award in the Charlotte area.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Greeting the dog and owner with a smile, pleasant voice, and a handshake. Explain to them how long I've been grooming, how long I've been in business, while holding the dog so it can get used to me. And having the customer fill out paperwork.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained by a Lady with 3 Standard Poodles, grooming, dogsitting and accompanying her to dog shows. I then trained myself how to do the other breeds. I
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $40.00 for a small dog, (up to 40lbs) $50.00 if the dog is matted. More for medium dogs (40lbs - 60lbs) the price will be discussed. Each groom includes grooming, bath, ears, annels and nails.
How did you get started in this business?
I adopted a puppy and when he was 6 months old, I decided to start grooming him. That's how I started my business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my customers are very nice. I try to be pleasant with all my customers.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find a person that has experience working with your breed of dogs dogs that loves animals
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The customer needs to know their dogs firsthand. If it has allergies, skin issues, whether they bite, are they nervice on the table?
