My service stands out for two reasons: I create the space my clients need and want without charging a fortune, mostly because I help them use what they already have. However, I'm not limited to that. My gift is in bringing the right colors into a space and warming it up, no matter the style. I am easy to work with. I listen and listen some more until I understand what my clients really want.
I love the process of turning a house into a home. I love the happiness it brings to people. I am passionate about design so I do not see it as a job, but as a true creative extension of my life. I love working with people and helping them find that joy so they may see their space as a place that renews them everyday.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process of working with clients varies, based on the kind of service they require. For example, if I am providing a color consultation, I would meet with a client, see the space, talk about their likes, dislikes, ask a ton a questions to get a real sense of what they want to feel in each space. And then I get started, picking out paint colors, etc. I provide a written design plan, listing all paint colors, finishes, painter and design suggestions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in journalism, but I've been designing and decorating since I was a child. I'm mostly self-educated in the design world. It's my true passion in life. After falling in love with an abandoned home (with most excellent bones), I renovated it from top to bottom in 2002. I started my color consulting business, The RIght Hue in 2008. In 2014, I trained under Lauri Ward of Interior Refiner's Network (IRN), where I received my certification as an Interior Redecorator in in January 2016. I continue my education daily by staying on top of the design magazines, catalogs and books. I'm a self-starter who needs no push to learn more.

Room Redesigns (includes written design plan for paint, lighting, window treatments, flooring, furniture arrangement, art and accessory arrangement, and recommendations for specific purchases, as needed. $300 for standard size room
Color Consulting: $125/hour
Home Staging: $125/hour
Interior Design: $150/hour
Transitioning to a new home (downsizing or upsizing) $125/hour
Online Decorating Service: $100/hour
In-store/online shopping: $100/hour
Art & Accessories Redesign: $125/hour
