About this pro

House Call Grooming is an easy, affordable and convenient way to have your pet groomed in the comfort of its own environment. Our prices are comparable to a high end salon, without having to travel and leave your furry companion.

You provide access to electricity and someplace to bathe the pet (utility sink, kitchen sink, bath tub) and we bring the rest of the salon experience. We set up indoors where it is comfortable for the homeowner and clean up all the mess when finished.

This service is perfect for pets that experience anxiety and owners that don’t want to leave their pets at a grooming salon.

Certified by the National Dog Groomers Association of America with over 25 years of experience.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

New clients should schedule appointment atleast 1 week in advance of desired appointment request.

Upon arriving for the grooming appointment we will come in and meet you and the pet/s and determine an appropriate location to set up.  We will discuss the desired groom for the pet and make sure that it is doable with the condition/temperament of the pet.

The groom will be completed, all the mess cleaned up and owner will render payment.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

grooming is scheduled at $65/hour

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

The state of North Carolina does not require any licensing or certifications for pet groomers. It is imperative that pet owners understand that cheaper prices don’t equal better service

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

All pets need grooming. Regardless of what the breeder that you purchased your pet told you, be prepared for your pet to need to be groomed every 4-8 weeks year round.
